Ability First,
Announcements:
Provo, Utah – (September 15th, 2012) – We are excited to inform you about our annual 5k & 10k race that will be held on September 15, 2012. Please save the date and plan to participate.
Join us in celebration of our 11th year of serving individuals with disabilities! We want you to be a part of our annual 5K-10K Run, Walk, and Roll. This is an amazing opportunity for everyone of every age and ability to participate in a race. Our event will take place on September 15, 2012. You have the incredible opportunity of helping family members, friends, and neighbors by becoming a race sponsor; we’ll even add the benefit of advertising for you and your company! Our media campaign, event promotions, and website will be working for your company. Attached is a list of possible sponsorship levels; or a fantastic prize for a participant would make this 10th annual race our best. Better still your contribution is tax deductible because Ability First is an approved non-profit corporation. We are anticipating 350 attendees this year. We would love to invite you and your employees to participate in the race: adding health benefits with a lot of prizes.
Proceeds will go toward the development and implementation of a program called “Ticket to Work” and our Youth Programs.
The Ticket to Work program specifically provides Social Security Beneficiaries with disabilities life altering availability to employment services. Ability First is becoming an Employment Network (EN). You can help us give those with altered abilities the opportunity to become self-sufficient through work. The sense of accomplishment they will gain by working is beyond description. You can be part of that growth.
Our Youth Program provides eighteen to about twenty-two year olds with disabilities activities specifically designed to increase necessary skills to function independently in home and community settings. Many youth with disabilities struggle with transitioning into adulthood. Ability First services will provide them with the resources needed to be successful in reaching their goals; you can too by sponsoring our race.
We cannot do this work alone and we thank you in advance for your consideration. We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership. Your participation in our annual 5K/10K Run, Walk, and Roll will make a vital difference in the lives of our consumers.
